Christmas lights for McDonough houses
Roofline lighting that follows the lines of your home, installed and looked after for the whole season.
Lighting that follows your house
The best Christmas displays are not the brightest, they are the most accurate. We trace gables, dormers, ridge lines and eaves so the lights draw the shape of your home at night.
From there you can add what suits you: wrapped trunks, outlined shrubs, wreaths, porch rails or a lit walkway. Every extra is priced on its own line, so you can start with the roofline and build up over the years.
- $8 to $12 per linear foot of roofline
- Lights, hardware and cords supplied by us
- Repairs through the season, removal and storage in January

Houses we light well
Two-story homes
Taller eaves mean extra equipment and care, reflected in your measured price.
Brick & stone
We attach with clips, not nails, so walls and mortar stay unmarked.
Steep or cut-up roofs
Many gables and corners take longer, and the quote shows exactly why.
Long ranches
Wide single-story fronts are easy to measure and look great in one clean line.

Build it up, year by year
Many homeowners start with the roofline. Next fall they add the front shrubs, then the oak out front. We keep your layout in mind each year so additions fit what is already there.

Questions about house lighting
Can you light a metal roof without drilling or screwing into it?
Yes. Standing-seam and other metal roofs are fine; we attach lights with clips and hardware that do not puncture panels, so there are no holes and no warranty worries. Tell us the roof type when you ask for a price.
Will LED Christmas lights raise my electric bill?
Very little. A typical roofline of LED lights draws less power than a few household bulbs, so the season's cost is usually small. A timer keeps them from running past the hours you want.
What is the difference between mini lights and C9 bulbs?
Mini lights are small and fine-grained, good for wrapping shrubs and trees. C9 bulbs are larger and bolder, the classic choice for a visible roofline. We choose by the look you want and how far the lights must read from the street.
Can you light the dormers, chimney and tall peaks?
Yes. Dormers, ridge lines and peaks are some of the best features to outline. Taller or steeper sections take more setup, which is why height and pitch feed into your per-foot rate.
Can renters or landlords arrange Christmas lighting for a rental house?
Either can. If you rent, get the owner's okay first; if you are the owner, tell us who the tenant is so we can coordinate access. We attach nothing permanent.
Can I skip a year and come back later?
Of course. Nothing locks you in. Ask again next fall and we will measure and price it fresh, adjusted for any changes to the house or yard.
How do the lights hold up in Georgia wind, rain and winter storms?
The hardware is built for outdoor weather, and we secure every section so a gusty night does not shake it loose. If a storm or fallen limb damages a section, call and we will come fix it.
Will a bright roofline bother the neighbors or my own bedrooms?
Warm white roofline lighting reads as a soft glow, not a floodlight. We keep lights on the roof edges and away from windows facing neighbors, and a timer sets the shutoff hour.
